This Bennington Flag is a great Patriotic Flag. Our flags are high quality and beautiful! Valley Forge guarantees this nylon flag with embroidered stars to be colorfast for 1 year from date of purchase. This grommet flag Measures: 3' x 5'. Hardware sold separately. It may be flown instead of the American Flag.
The BENNINGTON FLAG is believed by many authorities to be the first Stars and Stripes used by American land troops. Flown over the military stores at Bennington on August 16, 1777 when General Stark's militia led Americans to victory over the British raiding force. Original flag is preserved in the Bennington, Vermont Museum.
